Benjamin Spurling, M.D.

Dr. Spurling is an adult psychiatrist who utilizes his extensive experience to build a personalized treatment plan for each of his patients.  With Dr. Spurling you will feel heard and engage in an approach founded in education and mutual decision making.  He provides a concierge level of service delivered with the utmost respect to patient’s privacy and dignity.  

At Tampa Psychiatric Care, you will receive care from a leader in mental health treatment.  Dr. Spurling is an award winning psychiatrist who has published and presented at conferences across the country.  He is an American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry General Psychiatry board certified physician and is also pending subspecialty certification in Addiction Medicine through the American Board of Preventative Medicine.  Dr. Spurling holds a current faculty appointment as assistant professor at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine where he provides state of the art medical training to the next generation of psychiatrists.  He has practiced in many of the facilities in the Tampa Bay area bringing with him an approach to truly help his patients.
